but a few things of note (good and bad) would be...
spending the last half of 8th grade making up for terrible misdeeds,
a fabulous party that would kick the seat of my pants if it wasn't included in this post,
Strawberry Days being wonderful as ever, but with a lack of a carnival,
more salvaging for October,
the greatest month of summer, possibly the year, being July,
with Spanish teens,
travels to Las Vegas and Yellowstone,
where we partied on buses and swam dangerously near to hard rocks,
and felt what it most likely feels like in an oven,
and hikes up ridiculously steep mountains named after Native American lovers,
which were alarmingly claustrophobic on the inside,
many trips to Salt Lake City, one of which we are mistaken to actually be Spanish,
tearful goodbyes, for some of them are not coming back,
a fabulous girls camp, where everyone is beautiful,
much lounging and squandering,
but there is also summer seminary, a truly gorgeous invention,
being ready to be a freshman,
realizing we have no classes together,
a blur until October,
where i have the best weekend of my life, so far,
college is truly grand,
my family houses a polite Japanese boy,
who i turn into a vampire for our holiday purposes
i am Death for a lovely Hallows Eve,
but then a pink witch on the actual night,
where i am a boy- in a waltz- at a stake dance,
but tomorrow i have leftover feelings that are not welcome,
but we focus on the conference center as we show it to our great exchange student,
it is somehow even greater on a Sunday,
in November i turn 15, and it includes manicures, parties, cupcakes and skittles,
i procrastinate getting a permit, a truly foolish act,
i spend Thanksgiving with those who i belong with,
every day until the celebration of Christ is spen
t thinking of him in an activity, which my mother and aunt have precariously planned,
i am enchanted with the Savior of the World program,
we rejoice as everyone comes together and sleeps and eats,
i made some resolutions,
i ate some tacos,
and danced with some friends,
some boy got my heart a'pumpin',
and now we're going to start all over again.
i remember i said i wasn't going to do something similar to this...but i got carried away...
and if you, faithful blogger, have stayed throughout this post, i reward you with a virtual cupcake.
