Because seriously, I'm pretty interesting.
Today was fulfilling. An unusual feeling for an A-day. Most likely because it is the celebration of the birth of my Olivia. Sweet fifteen, today you get your permit. Jealous? Who, me?
I completed my shelving duties in the Media Center, a feat that gives my knees rugburn just to think about. I desire taller shelves.
I enjoy Flex time with Miss Birthday and Mike. I hug her face and drool over Robert Pattinson. Olivia shows me blogs posts that concern feminine hygiene. I laugh, and too soon the bell rings.
That third period was probably the most I've felt in any class I've ever had. Miss Parson is, in fact the greatest. I just want to go up to her and hug her, though I'm not sure what her reaction would be so I refrain.
Then I go to Seminary, where I learn of how music affects us. I knew that before, but Seminary always helps me understand things on a deeper level. I have also determined myself to get more out of every experience that I can. =)
But I found myself put out in Seminary today. Boys behind me wouldn't stop talking! Aren't you here to learn? I do. So hush.
A certain boy said the prayer. If you do not know him, he does not believe in the gospel. I know this for a fact. I don't like hypocrites. At all.
The Devotional put me off a bit too. She was unprepared and she was giggling through her scripture thought.
How have I not noticed this before? Our class is the bad class. I feel sad inside. This is what I've been looking forward to, and my experiences are being tainted.
To end on a happier note, Larson got his call! Let me paint the picture....
My father informs me when I walk in the door that Sis. Faux received his papers at the post office and we were now in possession of them. We're just waiting on my mother and small siblings.
My grandmother and cousins are there. Even small children that don't belong to my family at all. They are so cute. Grandma's sweating like normal. Mitzi talks about nothing, and we all take bets on where he'll get sent.
Finally, ever so finally, Mom comes in. We all crowd around Larson as he starts to open the envelope with painstaking slow. He then stops to thank people, mainly him, till we all hush him and he starts again...
It's finally open and he begins to read. My brother, Larson Phillip Price, will be serving a 24 month mission too...Everett Washington!
I'm so proud! The first Price to go on his mission! If anyone wants a missionary picture of him, please ask!
